I used to think I was broken.

Maybe you do too.
I was wrong.

About Me

Melissa ADHD neurodiversity coach in office sharing personal story

I'm Melissa Llewellyn Snider, and I work with neurodivergent adults who are exactly where I used to be—burned out from trying to make life work in systems that weren't built for their brains. Through ADHD and neurodiversity coaching, I help them do what I had to learn to do: build sustainable systems, restore self-trust, and create a life that actually fits.

My Story

I’ve always known my brain worked differently—
but for years, I had no real roadmap.
Just incomplete answers, inconsistent support,
and a whole lot of pressure to keep up.

I was already at a breaking point—
overwhelmed, confused, burned out
from trying to force my brain to work like everyone else’s.

Then crisis hit, and everything collapsed.

What followed was the hardest chapter of my life.
I was consumed by anxiety and depression
until I realized I couldn’t survive there forever.

So I began the real work.

I stopped trying to “fix” myself and started learning how my brain actually works.
Understanding ADHD became my obsession as I realized how much it explained.
But the real transformation was unlearning shame
and rebuilding trust with myself.

My struggles weren’t about laziness or willpower.
They were about surviving in a world
never designed for a brain like mine.

“I wasn’t broken. I just never had a shot.”

Slowly, I began to see who I actually was underneath all the masking and people-pleasing.

Before becoming a coach, I’d spent years helping people build skills across industries—
including running my own IT company focused on tech education for women.

I’d always believed people deserve the right tools—
I just hadn’t realized this applied to understanding your own mind.

Now, I coach neurodivergent adults who are done blaming themselves
and ready to do things differently.

What drives me is that moment when everything clicks.

“Wait… I don’t have to keep pushing through—
I can change how I do this.”

Why I Work with Neurodivergent Adults

Melissa specializing in ADHD coaching for neurodivergent adults

I work with Neurodivergent adults because I know what it's like when nothing seems to fit how you actually function. My clients are brilliant people who've spent years trying to reshape themselves to meet neurotypical expectations.

I work with them because I see them.
I am them.

They don't need fixing. They need someone who understands that their struggles aren't character flaws—they're the result of being
misunderstood for too long.

What I Believe

I believe neurodivergent people deserve environments and approaches that honor how they naturally operate. I've spent years unlearning the myth that there's only one "right" way to succeed.

I believe self-trust is a skill that most of us were never taught. Much of my coaching focuses on helping clients rebuild that foundation—trusting not just their abilities, but their instincts.

I believe in authenticity over perfection. Showing up as your real self—messy, brilliant, and evolving—isn't just acceptable, it's essential. My approach is grounded in compassion, honesty, and strategies that deliver real results.

Beyond Coaching

Melissa ADHD coach sharing life beyond coaching work

I co-host Hypercast, a podcast for ADHDers and Neurodivergent adults—built entirely from the ground up. I handle almost everything behind the scenes: scripting, editing, video and audio production. People don’t just listen—they come back. I hear the same thing again and again: "You get it." That’s when I realized something big: when people feel truly understood, things finally make sense. That’s exactly what I try to create in coaching, too.

I grew up a theater kid—singing, dancing, and competing in improv from a young age. That love of creativity and human expression later evolved into a focus on directing, set design, and technical theater, which I studied in college. These days, I'm a total nerd about video, storytelling, and production. That behind-the-scenes mindset shapes how I coach and create—I care about what makes things work, not just how they look.

How I'm Trained to Help

I’m a Certified ADHD Coach Practitioner (CACP) through the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (PAAC), and I hold an AACC from ADDCA—one of the most respected ADHD coach training programs out there. I’m also a member of both the International Coaching Federation (ICF), where I’m working toward my ACC credential, and the ADHD Coaches Organization (ACO).

What that means for you: I’m trained in both ADHD-specific strategies and professional coaching standards. So you’re getting support that’s informed, ethical, and actually effective.
